ovenless awesomeness

This week at ovenless awesomeness we made rocky road. We had to make a log to share between two. it had it it chocolate, golden syrup, butter, fudge, biscuits, and cranberries. Myne and kennedy's turned out really well and we hope it taste delicious. I can't what to eat it cause it looks so DELICIOUS!

Timbernook

This week in room 11, we went to Timbernook in Maraekakaho. It took us about 30mns to get there. Once we got there we started off by getting split up into three groups. I was in group number 1. We had to make up a name and a chant. We were the apple tree shovelers and our chant was kaka kaka we are the apple tree shovelers! We did also have actions. We won lots of the activities. In our group we had Me, Millie, Isabella, Mia and some boys. Our leader was jockey Jay.

Our first activity was the hula hoop races. We had to start off each group with the first person running to the tree and putting the hula hoop down by it then coming back to your team and grabbing one other person. once the had that person they would run back to the tree and back to there team on the other side and grab another person. they repeated this until their were no more of their team left then they would run back to where they started and the first team to do that wins.

after that game we had to make a human body out of leaves, hay, tires, poles, sticks and more stuff that we could find around the place. you had to have the body parts like a heart, a brain and lungs. Ours was a other because we had girly hair and a skirt, and a mohawk. We won that activity also too.

after that we went over to the fire place and sat down on some wood seats we had a little bit of morning tea. while we ate they told us the rules of the fire.

the stone in the road

In class we have been doing for literacy reading the book the stone in the road. We had to read paragraph by paragraph and think what was going to happen next. The story told us that if their is something you can help with you should help with it and you might get a reward.  If you read the story in the link you will find out that their was 3 people who walked past a stone on a road and didn't move it or anything just incase there was an accident, but their was one hard working girl who moved the stone and found under it there was a box of gold.

house design

we have been doing house designs. we had to make a house design and find out the Area of each room and each bit of the house. we had to write down the area of each room and all the extras.

The first time I saw…

in class we have been doing show not tell and we had to pick something special to write a story about. her is myne

     The first time I saw…

I was bouncing of the wall after i had opened NEARLY all of my presents. I felt like I ate to too much sugar. I was just calming down when i saw my cousin walk down the walkway with something in her hand. I felt excited but weird saying to myself…”is that present for me?” I wondered to myself… what was in that box? It was so….so… I can't find the words.

Finally kela opened the box and inside was….Was….WAs….WAS….. A? PUPPY!!! She was all wrapped up in her cute blanket snuggled in a computer box. She was so adorable like a little bundle of fur.

I patted her soft smooth fur as i felt her shiver of fright from all the people watching    around us.

She was so fragile and i was never going to let anything happen to her.  

Once she got use to me my banny gave her the lighter and she played with it rolling around.

I said no! She might get hurt. But branny said that she cannot flick the lighter on.

That was one of the most amazing christmas days of my life for me to get a cute puppy.
